Pre-requisites for commencing the PADI Instructor Development Course

PADI Instructor kit

Be certified as a PADI Divemaster or hold a leadership level certification with another recreational diver training organisation.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Submit medical clearance for diving signed by a Doctor, this must be current within the last 12 months. The Doctor signing the declaration cannot be the applicant.
Have been a certified diver for at least 6 months and have completed and logged 60 dives showing experience of night, deep and navigation dives. Please note to attend the PADI Instructor Examination (PADI IE) the candidate must have 100 logged dives.
Obtain in advance an up to date PADI Instructor manual and an original Guide To Teaching with hologram sticker.
